Trevi, Montefalco, Bevagna e Spello

For the first itinerary suggest is Trevi, Montefalco, Bevagna and Spello.

Trevi

It's a typical small town in a spiral shape surrounded by a wall.
It is an old medieval town situated between Foligno and Spoleto nominated “ the city of oil” for it’s excellent  production of extra virgin oil which offers visiters great traditional cooking.

Montefalco

It's also called the “Umbrian fence” because of it’s dominating position looking the valley from Perugia to Spoleto. In the sain Frances church there is a picture gallery famous for the production of umbria’s most important red wine “Sagrantino di Montefalco”.

Bevagna

It's a small town is situated in the valley  of  the umbria sud, between Montefalco and Foligno. The caratteristic of this little town is the small road, and in a very important the “Mercato delle Gaite”.

Spello

It's characteristic because it has winding streets  with medieval stone houses, some roman ruins, such as part of an Augustan wall the remains of a theatre and amphitheatre and an Augustan arch. The church of  Santa Maria Maggiore houses some marvelous frescos by Pinturicchio.
